Reference project: MARSO system
Manned Aircraft Real-time Surveillance & Observation system.
MARSO is an universally applicable monitoring system for maritime missions, e.g. coastal surveillance or terrestrial missions like disaster management. The platform is a gyrocopter from Trixy Aviation. The sensors are a RST WSMS-S RADAR and an optical and infrared-camera from Peiport. The data is transmitted in real time via a link to a mission ground station for evaluation – both elements are from M4COM. In the design of the system great attention was given to the optimisation of the investment-, operating- and maintenance costs.
During various demonstration weeks around the Adriatic in 2017 the system was presented to a wider group of interested parties.
