Quality assurance with SUSI and PRIS

GPR is a reliable method for the investigation of gravel in railway, pavement and bridge construction. The exact depth measurement or the determination of inclusions like water or fine-grained sediment, are the decisive factors for constructional safety.

For precision measurements with extremely high data quality, RST developed the radar systems SUSI and PRIS.

The Radar system SUSI scans and maps the track bed in high resolution.

PRIS decisively enhanced the system. Installed on a train or special vehicle, PRIS even allows for continuous high-speed measurements.
